About the Composer

Will Goss is an award-winning American composer, singer-songwriter, and pianist endorsed by Nord Keyboards. Influenced by his classical training, Will’s music blends orchestration with electronic and world music elements to create music that is new and emotionally impactful.

This blending of style is reflected in Will’s varied output, ranging from the dark Viking soundtrack of Song of Iron to the tuneful, electronic and orchestral sci-fi soundtrack of MetaSpace. The same varied style is found in his concert music, which includes a symphonic poem, chamber music, choral music, and more.

Recently, Will’s song cycle “she-wolf” was a finalist in the 2021 NATS Art Song Composition Award competition. His music has been performed by the College of Charleston Concert Choir, the College of Charleston Contemporary Music Ensemble, the Cane Bay Choirs, among others. Will holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina and a B.A. in Music from the College of Charleston, concentrating in music composition and piano performance.
